Project Officer

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Officer will be supporting software and/or hardware development and operational projects for the business. 

We are seeking highly motivated candidates with proven experience in a Project Officer role.

In this role you will be:

  • Taking ownership for the delivery of project reporting and driving improved content and formatting through consultation with stakeholders
  • Assist the project manager in managing and tracking projects against agreed deliverables.
  • Organising and participating in meetings and/or workshops, including agenda creation and meeting minutes.
  • Facilitation at project review, retro and planning meetings as required.
  • Working with the project manager and stakeholders to remove blockers for project delivery.
  • Assisting with ad hoc data analysis.

A little more about you:

  • Have experience in program and/or project management and administration
  • Have experience with AGILE processes and scrum facilitation
  • Are proficient in project management software tools – MS Project, Kanban boards (Jira or Azure dev ops) highly desirable; and Microsoft Applications
  • Are a collaborative team player with demonstrated communication skills
  • Ideally have web-based reporting skills in Quicksight/PowerBI or similar
  • Have demonstrated the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, to plan activities and set priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines in a context of competing priorities and expectations.
