What You’ll Be Doing
As our Senior Technician, you will:
Lead & Lift
- Mentor and guide a small team of Technicians.
- Set standards for best practice repairs and fault diagnosis.
- Share your expertise to prevent future issues and improve performance.
Get Hands-On with Complex Tech
- Perform electronic diagnostics on gaming machine assemblies and peripherals components.
- Repair, adjust, replace, calibrate, and test equipment to meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Apply your knowledge across various electronic systems.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Gaming Services Manager.
- Maintain efficient inventory and logistics processes.
- Support goods receiving/dispatch and ensure accurate tracking through our inventory systems.
- Keep the Repair Centre safe, organised, and inspection‑ready.
Autonomy + Impact
You’ll have a high level of independence, trusted to prioritise complex technical issues, navigate non‑routine repairs, and make smart decisions about workflow and scheduling.
Your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver high-quality, fully serviceable gaming components to venues across the state.
What You Bring
- Strong experience in electronics repairs, diagnostics, and component-level fault finding.
- Qualifications in electronics or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a small team.
- Confidence in researching technical information.
- Interpreting technical drawings when available.
- A proactive communication style and commitment to continuous improvement.
