At Odyssey Gaming, our next chapter is just beginning. We’re rolling out a bold new strategy to grow our proudly family‑owned business, and we’re looking for a Finance Business Partner who’s excited to grow with us.

As part of the wider Tasmanian‑based Federal Group, your work will support both our Queensland‑based Odyssey Gaming operations and our close partner TASkeno in Tasmania. What you’ll be doing

• Own the P&L and ensure financial information is accurate, timely and meaningful.
• Partner closely with operational leaders, helping them understand the story behind the numbers.
• Prepare month‑end reports, dive into trends, and highlight opportunities or risks.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, validating assumptions and grounding plans in reality.
• Monitor key performance metrics and raise issues early so teams can act quickly.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement across systems, processes and financial governance.

What you bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar, plus CA or CPA membership.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel and financial systems.
• Experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or business partnering.
• A practical mindset; equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting things done.
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Curiosity, initiative and a passion for making things better.
