Storeperson – Keep the Operation Moving

Brisbane | Casual | Pinkenba

If you enjoy staying active, working to deadlines, and being part of a close‑knit team where accuracy and safety matter, this role is for you.

Every item you handle plays a part in keeping our customers operational and downtime to a minimum.

Why This Role Matters

This isn’t just picking and packing.

You will be a key contributor to the smooth flow of gaming parts and equipment across Queensland (and occasionally interstate). From receipting incoming goods to dispatching critical components, your work directly supports our Field Service Technicians, gaming venues, and service teams.

Fast‑paced, practical, and team‑driven - no two days are quite the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Storeperson, you will:

Keep Goods Moving

  • Receive, record, store, and dispatch goods in line with established procedures
  • Prepare, package, and ship parts accurately and efficiently
  • Support deliveries to Odyssey sites and venues across the state

Maintain Control & Accuracy

  • Perform basic inventory checks on quantity, quality, and availability
  • Update stock records using simple warehouse and operational systems
  • Assist with stock counts and routine inventory tasks

Support a Safe, Tidy Warehouse

  • Operate basic warehouse equipment and machinery (including forklift operation)
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Follow mandatory safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times

Be a Team Player

  • Assist colleagues and other departments as required
  • Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries
  • Help ensure daily targets and dispatch deadlines are met

Autonomy + Team Support

You will work under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, with clear procedures and a structured schedule, while still being trusted to manage your tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.

Your reliability and attention to detail will make a real difference to our overall warehouse performance.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
  • A genuine commitment to working safely

Licences & Requirements

  • Current Queensland Driver’s Licence (desirable)
  • Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Ability to safely lift up to 15kg

Why Join Odyssey?

We know strong operations rely on great people.

  • Stable, permanent full‑time role
  • Supportive, safety‑first team culture
  • Clear processes and expectations
  • Free, confidential Employee Assistance Program
  • Staff and family hotel discounts across Federal Group properties

Join a business that values teamwork, accountability, and getting the basics right every time.
