What you’ll be leading:

The State Manager is responsible for leading all operational, and customer‑facing activities and achieving strategic commercial outcomes within Queensland for Odyssey Technologies. This role drives revenue growth, ensures cost discipline, strengthens customer relationships, and enhances brand presence across the region. The State Manager acts as the primary point of accountability for state performance, ensuring alignment with national strategy while tailoring execution to local market needs.  

The State Manager reports to the General Manager and has direct reporting lines for the Customer & Product Experience, Operations and Sales teams. You can expect to be leading activities under the following accountabilities: 

  • Revenue Growth and commercial performance with PnL responsibility

  • Customer relationship management 

  • Brand awareness and market presence 

  • Leadership and people management 

 

  What you will bring as our new State Manager:

  • Extensive experience as an experienced sales, operations or general manager from the technology, gaming or similar industry. 

  • Demonstrated capability in opportunity assessment, business case development, and commercial modelling.  

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to align diverse stakeholders around product direction.  

  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly understand new domains and bring insights.  

  • Eligibility to hold a Key Monitoring Employee License from the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
